For all of you who do not know about me my name is Manu and I was born 1988. I am a hobby photographer and filmmaker from Germany. I am in love with landscapes, hockey, and travel.
I already started filming in high school with smaller school projects but stopped right after that. I stepped in again when I was about to make a movie for some friends and their roller hockey team in 2015. I bought my first DSLR camera and a separate lens for that project. In the following years, I did some smaller hobby projects for roller hockey teams in the area of Frankfurt/M.
In 2017, I discovered the world of photography when I was taking photos with my phone during a horse showjumping tournament. I decided to grab my DSLR and accompanied many showjumping tournaments for sport photography. I started travel and landscape photography and videography during my trip to New York & Florida in 2017.
Now I am trying to freeze the moment of beautiful landscapes in different countries that I visit during my travels.
Discover
Always discover new projects to take photos and videos. So far I did photography with animals in close up and during sports tournaments. Sometimes I try to shoot some portraits of animals. Most of the time I shoot landscape photography. I also did some work for friends with fitness shootings for their studio. In the future, I will get more into portrait photography and advanced selfies. Check out my Instagram to start discover.
Photography
You can read the about me section above to learn when I started with photography & videography. I am also trying to create my own style with presets in Adobe Lightroom, which is definitely not easy today because there are so many talented editors out there. But I'm trying to do my best. You can check out my portfolio for some of my selected best shots.
Videography
I really started everything with videography. It was the reason why I bought a DSLR camera. I am still trying to shoot video as often as I can during my travels. The next big step to better videography will be a drone. I already own one but it is an old Phantom 2 and really not easy to carry around. For my next travels this year I will definitely need a Mavic 2. Check out my videos in the video section.
